About BLU
Badan Layanan Umum (abbreviated as BLU) is an agency within the Government that was formed to provide services to the public in the form of providing goods and/or services that are sold without prioritizing profit-seeking and in carrying out its activities are based on the principles of efficiency and productivity.
Performance-based budgeting is outlined in Law Number 17 of 2003 concerning State Finances, while Law Number 1 of 2004 concerning State Treasury Article 68 and Article 69 provides new directions that government agencies whose main duties and functions are to provide services to the community can implement a flexible financial management pattern by prioritizing productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.


BLU-STIP
Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pelayaran (STIP) Jakarta is an educational institution under the auspices of the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia that focuses on developing human resources in the field of shipping. Since September 30, 2009, STIP Jakarta has been designated as a government agency that implements the Public Service Agency Financial Management Pattern (PK-BLU) based on the Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 26/KMK.05/2009.

BLU STIP Supervisory Board
To ensure good governance, STIP Jakarta is supervised by the PSA Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board is tasked with providing advice and conducting supervision of the implementation of STIP\'s duties and functions as a PSA.
